As Controller at Volume Nine, Heather is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse ensuring everything runs smoothly on the finance and HR side of the business. With over 20 years of accounting experience, she brings a meticulous eye for detail and a deep passion for numbers—because for Heather, accounting isn’t just a job, it’s what she loves.
Her background includes serving as a Contracts & Grants Accounting Specialist with the University of Alabama College of Engineering, as well as previous finance experience with V9, making her an integral part of the team’s operational success. While she doesn’t interact directly with clients, Heather’s expertise in financial management, budgeting, and HR administration keeps the company on solid ground.
Originally from a small town in the South, Heather has lived in multiple states before returning to her home state of Alabama. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she’s incredibly proud of her daughter, who is now an aerospace engineer in Fort Worth, Texas.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time on the water. Of all the things she loves about Volume Nine, the culture and people make the biggest impact:
